Food Log - April 11, 2012 WB

What I Ate Today

2:30 pm
2 jumbo eggs
40g mozzarella cheese
butter, olive oil, pepper
coffee

5:00 pm 
chicken thigh
1 cup su choy
1t soysauce
diet ginger ale
water

6:20 pm
McDouble - meat,cheese, extra pickles, no bun
large coffee, 4 creams shared

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm movie time
large coffee, 4 creams shared unfinished
green tea
10 almonds

10:00 pm
4 sockeye salmon, 2 atlantic salmon, 2 tuna,  sashimi 
2 lemon slices
lettuce, coiled vegetable garnish - extremely mild onion? daikon?
soy sauce, wasabi
diet ginger ale
green tea


11:50 pm
90g strawberries
6 almonds
water

3:15 am
60g spicy sardines - approx 4g carbs

whoops, I stayed up a bit longer and ate some sardines.  I'm not going to test again. I probably went up a bit, but I'll wait and see what it reads when I wake up.

I didn't take any insulin and I was under 10.  My highest reading in the morning - 8.1 was due to dawn effect.  I'll probably go up a bit again in tomorrow morning, but I'm not taking insulin again tonight. I didn't check the carb content of the foods, but I'm pretty sure it was around 20g total for the day.

I see a nutritionist, actually a chronic disease nurse, tomorrow morning.  I'm really interested in what she'll have to say about my changing diet.  We'll see if she does the usual mostly complex carb, some protein, low calorie, low fat, approach.
