This morning, I was looking in the mirror and thinking hey, is my belly smaller? It is! I've lost 2" around my bellybutton circumference. Then I figured ok, I must have lost weight and I had to jump on the scale a couple times and then get Carbo Face to do it too, because I thought it was broken. I've lost 11 lbs since Sunday, and some of that might be water weight, or period weight, since I got my period over the weekend too, but even so...
It's only been 3 days, and I'm not even doing the low carb thing seriously, I've simply been cutting back on carbs. I think I must be doing something right. :)
I'll be doing this hard core pretty soon. Carbo Face is talking about going on a meat only diet for a month or so and seeing where that takes us. I dunno, the idea isn't particularly appealing, but I could probably do it for a month. Maybe it's good way to do induction. Swear off carbs altogether and then graaaaadually reintroduce them.
I'm almost certain I will be avoiding fructose like a poison because the liver turns that to fat immediately, and if I don't eat carbs at all, I'll be able to figure out which carbs I tolerate well by introducing them one at a time. I'm thinking about it anyhow.
Also, this is one of the most concise videos I've come across in terms of explaining how you get fat.
